Hey Guys! Whew what a busy week and weekend it has been. I apologize for being MIA on the blog last week. I have some posts ready to go, they are just in the approval stages right now with the brands. They are worth the wait, I promise!

This past weekend was the Reward Style Conference. It is always such a busy, jam packed weekend with tons of meetings, classes and of course the fabulous parties. I love seeing all my blogger friends and meeting new faces. I have been going for many many years, and this year there were tons of new faces. I will say, I am SO worn out, but left Dallas with a full heart and feeling inspired. I was chatting with a lovely blogger from NYC on the bus over to the finale party, and I love hearing how 1st time conference goers feel about the conference. I remember my first one like it was yesterday and remember all the anxious feelings. I do feel that the blogger community as a whole, has become more welcoming to one another.  Believe me, I have seen it ALL over the years and nothing frustrates me more than women not supporting women.  I always try to make an effort to talk to as many people as I can during these types of events. Women work there booties off the entire prior year to attend this conference, and the last thing they should feel is uncomfortable or unwelcome.  I could probably talk about this topic for days, but being a mother to a daughter, I hold the responsibility of teaching her to be a strong, yet loving person to a very very high standard and that starts with my own actions.  It makes me very happy to see a more collaboration than competition in this industry.

Before I dive into all my conference outfits, I have this adorable spring look to share with you! I brought this as a back up to the conference and I spilled something on my shoes the night before I left. UGH! Suede and self tanner do not mix btw. I absolutely ADORE this gorgeous pastel dress. The colors are pretty much perfection and I love the shift fit. I paired it with a sleek white blazer and added a pop of color with my shoes. Also, can we take a moment to discuss these bow earrings? They are from my friend Teggy French’s collection with Haute HQ. You much check out the entire collection here, they are as fabulous as she is.

That’s a fabulous outfit! I love the dress, it’s so pretty. And sadly, many women don’t support one another but hopefully, things are changing as the newer generations realize that supporting each other is the way to go.
