Happy Wednesday Guys! Lately I have found myself running from one place to another and it usually involves taking Olivia to school or to dance or running all the blog errands. I joke that I have a moving closet it my car because of all these things because typically I do not have time to run home if we are having dinner out that night. This legit drives my husband NUTS because his car is spick and span. Something I need to work on for sure haha, but right now the moving closet has been coming in handy haha. Why you may ask, well lets chat about it.

So I am always look for pieces to dress or down. I buy a ton of clothes for my job, but finding versatile pieces are always at the top of the list. I love sharing items that you guys can get numerous wears out of. I started going thru my closet and a couple items stuck out that I reach for on a daily basis to dress up and down. Today I am sharing one of them, the button down flannel.

Ok, this is a piece many of you already have in your closet. It is a staple for years to come, no matter what season it is. I picked up this gorgeous pink and grey flannel and fell in love with the easy fit. The fabric is uber soft and the colors are perfect to wear now and into winter.

The first way I styled it was in the morning to drop Olivia off at school. I am 100% about the jogger life and I love how put together I felt with pairing these pink joggers with the button down top. I will be honest, there are mornings where I look like I jumped out of bed, but when I have outfits like these ready to grab, it makes life a bit easier if I have errands to run after dropping her off.

That night I met my mom out for dinner and paired the same button down with jeans and otk boots (I did have these in my car haha.) This is how I would typically style this top in the winter season. It is simple, yet chic!

A couple other ways I would style this top…. Tie it around your waist with leggings and a long sleeve t shirt! Pair it with cut off shorts and sandals in the spring! I also love it unbuttoned over a tank with jeans or shorts.

Basically button down tops are my jam in a pinch and that is why I have WAY too many in my closet. Below I linked up lots of my current favorites including this grey and pink beauty. Let me know in the comments if you like these “real life” looks and I will do more in the future! xoxo Tara
