Happy Monday! I am super excited to be kicking off a workwear series on the blog. When it comes to workwear, I typically invest in quality pieces that I can style numerous ways. For example black pants, a white button down, a chic blazer, a black pencil skirt, a classic black dress , a classic pump etc.  Basically a work capsule wardrobe and then I have fun with accessories and shoes to add a bit of my own style to it. I also love getting longevity out of these pieces which sparked this series; From the office to happy hour or the weekend.

Thru this series I will show you how you can take your workwear to the weekend or from the office to happy hour. Styling piece numerous ways has always been a huge priority over the last couple of years on my blog and you may have noticed in 2017 I started doing this more and more. It is my goal to make getting dressed in the morning as easy as possible so that you can spend more time with your loved ones. Less fuss more fun 😉

Today I am styling a beautiful LBD dress from Loft. As soon as I slipped this dress on, my mind started racing with styling ideas. The fit is impeccable and perfect for just about any occasion. It is also currently 50% off! I am wearing the 0P which is my normal size in Loft Dresses.

FOR THE OFFICE

When it comes to office where, I like to keep my accessories minimal and my outfit be sleek and chic. I chose to wear this dress without the belt as it makes it an appropriate length for the office. I then paired it with a classic pump and bag to complete the look.

FOR DATE NIGHT

The playful ruffles on this LBD make it perfect to dress up for a date night. I tied the sash into a bow in the front and switched out the pumps for a strappy sandal. I added a pop of color with my earrings and clutch. You can also tie the sash in the back for a completely different look.

FOR VACAY

Lastly, I styled this cute dress for a casual vacation look. I tied the sash into a knot in the front and paired it with a simple black sandal. Carry your favorite beach tote and tie a scarf in your hair to make this dress vacay ready.

I would LOVE To hear from you all on what you think about this new series. The feedback on posting more workwear was overwhelming so I hope you enjoy these posts! Let me know what types of workwear pieces you guys want to see “reworked” on the blog next!  xoxo Tara

Love all three of the looks and I love when a dress can be styled different ways. I think I would love the vacay look for an upcoming summer trip of mine.
