Happy Friday! Before I get into my Nordstrom Anniversary Shopping Tips, lets talk about this pretty white on white monochromatic look!

I absolutely love a monochromatic look. While browsing online this past week I came across THIS gorgeous lace skirt. I love the mod feel of it and of course, I am a sucker for white lace. I instantly knew I wanted to style it with a white top. I continued my search and came across the most perfect top to pair with it from Free People. I will be honest, I came across this top earlier in the week and passed. I loved the sleeve detail, and the four color options it comes in are all gorgeous, but at first it did not win me over. Well goes to show, opinions can change very quickly haha. The lace pattern on the tops pairs SO beautifully with the skirt. You can half tuck it like me or fully tuck it for a more dress like appearance.This top also looks absolutely adorable with cut offs too. I plan on wearing the skirt with a vivid top, like this one, later in the summer.

Now for the Nordstrom Sale tips! I cant believe the sale of the year is just under a week away. If you are on instagram you have heard about it over and over AND OVER again. I can’t help but get excited every single year as I am a total Fall girl at heart. I have shopped the sale for many years so below are my top tips (besides heading to my blog first thing in the morning on July 13th, shameless plug I know 😉 )

1. Know your Favorite Brands– Take a peek in your closet and see what brands you are super fond of. Tons of the household names at Nordstrom will have special items in the sale at killer prices. This makes it super easy to narrow down your search while browsing the sale.
2. Make A List- Know what you are looking for! My top five favorite things to shop for during the sale are cardigans, booties, coats, bags, basic everyday tops and denim. Some of my all time favorite pieces in my closet came from the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale.
3. Shop Early– Last year the top items sold out at record speed! I was honestly shocked at how fast some items went. Most items have a set number of units available, so if you want it, grab it while you can.
4. Check back for Returns– Even though items do sell out quickly, keep checking back on your favorite items if you missed out the first time. Returns can take time to process, so check often. I will always keep a tab update don my nordstrom sale tab with the top items and let you guys know when items are restocked!
5. Designer Steals– Each and every year during the Nordstrom Anniversary sale, there are some crazy good deals on designer items. The catalog already gave us a sneak peek of some gorgeous Stuart Weitzman boots and booties on sale!
