Hi Dolls! Happy Monday! First things first… things are looking a bit different around here. I have a new site design! I worked with Lindsay from White Oak Creative to come up with a chic, feminine design that will make your experience more enjoyable. She was amazing to work with and if you are looking for any blog design needs, be sure to check her out HERE.  You can now search my outfits by category at the main menu bar and my new shop is easier to navigate. I would love to hear your feedback on the site so please leave a comment with your thoughts!

Today I am thrilled to team up with Banana Republic with my husband to talk about sentimental holiday traditions. Growing up, one of Drew’s most vivid memories about the holiday season was going to a tree farm to pick out a tree. Tromping around, sipping hot cocoa and analyzing every tree until you find the perfect Douglas Fir is a pretty fun Christmas Tradition. Any type of activity that we can do as a family, we love! Olivia loved winding thru all the trees and we decided to pick up a small one this year for her room. We can’t wait to visit the tree farm again next year to find our family tree.

I am wearing two different looks from banana republic to show you guys how to take an outfit from dressy to casual. THIS button back sweater is a cashmere blend and incredibly soft. It comes in tons of colors and fits true to size. I paired it with a gorgeous navy sequin mini and my favorite leather jacket to complete the look. I switched out the skirt for a pair of Banana Republic skinny jeans for an easy casual holiday look. Since we were going to the tree farm, heels were not an option, so I paired both looks with my green hunter boots. I accessorized with THIS green plaid scarf and THESE gorgeous statement earrings, which were the perfect holiday touches!

For Drew’s look, he chose a gorgeous burgundy two toned sweater and a navy blue utility jacket. What I love about this sweater is that you can also dress it up or down. Wear it with slacks to the office, or with jeans like drew did for a more casual look. Drew LOVES his beanies as much as I do, so he paired his look with THIS grey beanie.

Banana Republic has so many amazing pieces for the holiday season and into the new year! I have listed all my favorites below. I have my eye on THIS coat for NYE.

Our Top Picks

Thank you guys for stopping by and have a lovely week! xoxo Tara

Love the new design! The ONLY thing I would change is for the links to open a new tab. I would love to be able to click on a link, have it open a new tab so that I can shop around that website, and then just click back to your tab. Love everything else! And these pics are adorbs.
