Every spring and summer wedding season starts to ramp up. When I get an invitation, I mark the date in my planner, make a note of their registries and then the next question I always ask myself is, “What am I going to wear?” The first place I look is the invitation. If the wedding is black tie it is more than likely going to be notated on the invitation. If not, the location should give you an indicator on how formal the special day will be.
Once you know the dress code, the next part is easy. You may be thinking, girl you are crazy, shopping for wedding guest dress is NOT so simple! Well hear me out!
I have been a long time shopper at Modcloth and while I was shopping for my look for this post I came across an incredible selection of occasion wear. They have the perfect dress for every dress code including outside weddings, cocktail weddings, and even black tie! We have a couple formal weddings coming up so my eyes immediately drifted to this stunning lilac lace dress.
The detailing on this dress is absolutely gorgeous. The cut is modest and the length is super feminine. The best part, this dress is just begging to be danced in! I adore this pearl embellished clutch and it is the perfect size to stash my lipstick and powder for touch ups after dancing the night away.
