Happy Mother’s Day! Today I am SO excited to have my mom and sisters join me on the blog for a special Mother’s day post! Anyone that knows my family knows we are VERY close. My mom and sisters are my best friends. We spend so much time together and it is such a blessing our kids get to grow up together. I will never take for granted the time we have together. I picked out a dress for each of my sisters and mom and had them style it. I also asked each of them what motherhood means to them!
“Being a mother has meant many different things for me over the years. In this season of my life, the best part of being a mom, is seeing my daughters mother their children. I am very proud of the strong, dedicated girls that love their babies with a fierce passion”
My Sister Rachel
“Motherhood is the struggle between wanting to stop time and never letting them grow up and watching them become your most favorite person alive. Motherhood is the ultimate example of grace became no matter how much you think you are screwing it up, they absolutely love you no mater what. This is the BEST job in the world”
My Sister Nicole
“Babies crying at 3am, watching one more episode of Peppa Pig before bedtime, bribing him with M&Ms to smile for a picture, your baby boy running outside crying because he didn’t get a hug and Kiss goodbye when you are just running to the grocery store, seeing your baby girl smile when you walk in the room, holding her in your arms asleep…knowing your are not the best, but in their eyes there is no better mom in the world. That is a small part of motherhood and it is my favorite.”
PS. My sister just had a baby in December! Doesn’t she look fabulous?!?
“Motherhood to me is raising Olivia to be the best version of herself. To teach, love, be her cheerleader, and guide her through the curveballs life will throw her way. Motherhood challenges me and makes me want to be the best version of myself. The snuggles, the tears and the belly laughs… every single second of motherhood is the absolute best life.”
Mother’s day is not always a happy day for a lot of women. My thoughts and prayers go out to the many women who are going thru struggles to become a mom, that cannot have children or have lost their mothers. xoxo Tara
