When I think of NYFW, I always find myself thinking, “What would Rachel Zoe wear?” But seriously, she is the ultimate fashion icon and to say I was thrilled to work with her during NYFW is an understatement.
I fell in love with each and every piece from the Rachel Zoe Fall 2016 collection after viewing it in February. Her designs are always timeless, feminine, chic, and most importantly, glamourous. From the buttery soft silks, to the perfectly embellished cable knit sweater, her Fall collection is the definition of effortless glam.
Day 2 of NYFW I wanted a fun yet edgy piece to wear for the Marissa Webb Show. I fell in love with the Aspen Plaid Mini dress. The mix of windowpane fabrics gave the dress the perfect amount of texture and the I loved that the dress had pockets! The dress has victorian-inspired touches with the subtle ruffle on the necktie and the ruffle cuffs. I kept my accessories minimal to let the dress stand out and simply pinned a Chanel broach on one of the cuffs. I balanced out the mini hemline with OTK boots.
I chose a monochromatic look for a daytime look on day 3 of NYFW. The Bex silk button down is hands down my favorite piece in my closet. The fabric is downright dreamy and the removable necktie is the perfect playful touch. The best thing about this top is that it can easily be worn in the office and then dressed up to wear out at night. I paired it with the Brianna Pressed Mohair Skirt. I love that Rachel created such a chic update on the skater skirt. The mohair fabric is lux and gives the skirt the perfect flare.
Have a lovely day and thank you for stopping by!
