Today I a sharing a casual Valentines Day look. This is something I would typically wear on Vday because we always stay in and cook at home. The past couple of years it has turned into a family affair and I cook for everyone! Cooking has always beens something that I really enjoyed. I haven't had the chance to cook like I used to since Olivia arrived. We are a lot more concerned with what she is eating everyday than ourselves. She has been a good eater until recently. If anyone has any pointers, I would love to hear them!
I adore this pink oversized sweater from Logo N Stitch. Its comfy and great to pair with jeans or leggings. I have also been wearing beanies a lot lately. I always see them on my sisters and they look so cute, but have never been too confident wearing them. Page 6 sent met this one and I fell in love with it. I guess I am on the beanie train now.
Thank you for stopping by and have a wonderful day.
I hope everyone had a great weekend! It ever fails that when my mom and I go out on Sundays to take pics, the wind is crazy (as you can see above!) Hopefully the wind is blowing in some warmer temps, because I am over this cold weather.
I have been on a huge black and white kick the past couple of weeks, and it continues with this adorable heart print skirt from Nordstrom. I paired it with a black and white baseball style top and my favorite boots. I have been seeing this style of top pop up all over the major retailers. This one is a bit oversized so it can be paired with jeans and leggings.
This bag by Henri Bendel is my go to cross body. I was instantly drawn to the shape as its different than anything I already own. I have also found its the perfect camera bag!
Thank you for stopping by and have a great week!
TGIF! but really! I am jumping up and down its friday after this long week. Olivia and I BOTH caught another cold, I started my new job and Drew has been out of town since saturday. He got back last night and I immediately went to bed haha.
Enough with the pity party, lets talk about cute trench! How pretty is this color? I have been paring blush tones with green a lot and pretty much fell in love with the color combo. I borrowed my moms Lim over the weekend and may not give it back (kidding, kind of) This top I have been wearing non stop. It goes with so much and a great basic to have in your closet.
We have a busy weekend ahead but I will be napping whenever I can.
If you follow me on instagram, I am wore vests all winter long! I was so happy to find this gingham vest from Page 6 Boutique to take into spring. I paired it with my go to peplum top and black denim for the current season, but it would be adorable with a black skirt and heels later in the spring. It also comes in navy and tangerine (a HOT color for spring!) Be sure to check it out, they will go fast! I am also loving this sea foam green version too.
This week has been pretty hectic! I have started a new job, and absolutely love it so far. My career is very important to me and I am very blessed to have my husband and families support. I have had to be more organized than ever before and even thats not enough it seems. I can't even tell you how many times I have lost my keys, forgotten milk at the store or left my wallet at home this week. I tend to get in the dumps when I can't do everything, but I have to always remind myself that everything will be ok and I do not need to do EVERYthing.
Thank you for stopping by and have a wonderful day!
Another weekend look today and this is kind of my go to uniform lately. It was SUPER windy when my mom and I snapped the pics and about 95% of them my hair was all over the place! Not the most attractive, but I had to share this great sweater with you all before it sold out. It is labeled as a pearl blue, but I would say it is more of a bluish grey. I paired it with this high low T and a blush pink scarf. I also paired it with a grey top and black skinnies last week!
As for this beautiful bucket bag... you guys will be seeing a LOT of this over the next couple of months. Bucket bags have been on the rage lately, but what I like about this one is the clever side pockets along the sides. I do not know about you all, but I love me some pockets! I also love the option of it being a a shoulder bag. It is the perfect bag for spring!
The weather this past weekend was amazing! I wore this look sunday for brunch. I usually would save a look like this for transitioning into spring, but hey I will take 60 degree and sunny weather in January any day. This pink dress from Maude is perfection. Its a longer length and the softest material. I paired it with an oversized sweater and my favorite grey boots.
I have been looking for a grey bag for awhile and this one from Ora Delphine is the perfect size and color! I love the gold hardware and how easy it can be dressed up or down. I will be sharing a couple more Ora Delphine bags over the next couple of week so stay tuned.
